I wish you could see me now. I’m hanging out at the beach house we’ve rented on the Gulf Coast, overlooking the water, enjoying the breeze, digesting the delicious salad I made for lunch and feeling blessing after blessing wash over me like the waves I was jumping with my family earlier today. Like I’ve always said (since those dog food commercials in the 80′s), “I’m a lucky dog!”  Well….. Oprah says it isn’t luck, and I’m inclined to agree. I realize this is a total cliché, however, 2009 has moved about as quickly as any year I can remember! In January we sold the house we’d owned for 7+ years. In February we moved into another one.
